Scene and Unseen – A Dialogue of Racial Reconciliation:
Confronting Racism through Film

Join us in Kleberg Hall on Wednesday evenings during Lent for a Lenten series facilitated by Dr. Greg Garrett. The series will include a closer look at these film classics: Birth of a Nation, Casablanca, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, and Do the Right Thing. Please bring a dish to share for the potluck meal before the lecture.

As an author, professor, preacher, musician, and public theologian, Greg Garrett continues to stretch the minds of his audiences with hard questions about faith, community, and relationship to God. With a multitude of publications, countless public teachings, and a heart of gold, Greg strives to engage all people with God’s Holy presence. Greg is a tenured professor of English at Baylor University, with an office on the St. George’s campus. He is a devoted husband and father to Jeanie and their children.
