Film Showing

Saturday, February 21
Film Showing: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm

An afternoon of film, reflection, and collective strategy as we come together to confront injustice, learn from global movements, and engage in meaningful conversation about action and accountability.

The immigrants in our community and across the country are being rounded up like cattle. Their US citizen children and spouses are being arrested, and US citizens are being murdered and covered up by the government. It is time for us to pull together and strategize about how we can stop the people perpetrating these abuses. Plan to attend a film, "Bringing Down a Dictator: How Ordinary Citizens in Yugoslavia brought down the dictator Milosevic," followed by a short documentary about Molly Ivins and Ann Richards, "Molly and Ann" by Paul Stekler, who will present the film and take questions.
