Support Guatemala Mission Trip!

St. George's is once again sponsoring a mission trip to Guatemala, March 23 - 27th with Helps, International. Fifth graders from a rural school in the remote mountainous indigenous village of Santa Avelina will travel to the city of Quetzaltenango (Xela).

The purpose of the trip is to expose the students to post-secondary educational and career opportunities, inspire them to continue their education to break the cycle of poverty, and become productive Guatemalan citizens. St. George's volunteers will travel with HELPS staff members, local guides, and students. Please donate on the website to help provide lodging, transportation, and food for the children and adults.

We are looking to raise at least $1,200; any additional amount will help. We will also be collecting supplies. Please contact Carolyn Moreau moreaucarolyn@gmail.com  for more information.
